In HEC, Students study three main subjects in detail (i.e.) History (Study of all the things that happened in the past especially in the areas of political, Social or Economic development of a nation), Economics (the branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth, etc.) and Civics (Study dealing with the rights and duties of citizens, the way government works, the functions of various forms of governments, like democracy, etc,..).
After Intermediate Students can get into regular BA or B.com and professional courses like Diploma and Post Graduate diploma in Journalism, Sociology, Public Administration, etc., followed by MA, Mass Communication, Journalism, LLM, etc. to make career in UPSC- Civil Services under central Government and TSPSC by appearing for Group I and Group II Examinations under State Government.
